Restoration Log Cabins is a property owned by Karen Tillery, who has fulled restored 5 separate log cabins, preserving the historic value and story of the homes, while modernizing them with every amenity that could be needed while vacationing. The property is quiet, secluded, and surrounded by wooded nature and mountain views, where you will see all sorts of wildlife, hear the sound of rushing waterfalls, and smell fresh, pure air.
 
This is a true retreat. Karen Tillery is a wife and a mom of four, a born and bred Alabama girl with a passion for design and restoration. She has moved all five cabins from other locations onto the property, keeping key features such as original pine and poplar floors and old stained glass windows, adding in period pieces such as beds made from old barn wood from the 1800s, and decorating with antiques. Even bathrooms have been designed to appear old, with touches like faucets that look like water pumps, even though of course the original homes did not have indoor plumbing. These homes are true masterpieces of design.
